Burnout

Burnout doesn't always look dramatic from the outside. You're still showing up, still getting things done. But something underneath has been running on empty for a long time, and you can't remember the last time you felt any different.

Working from Balham/Clapham South, I offer a space to slow down and look at what's driving the exhaustion, without judgement and without needing to have it all figured out.

How I can help

Burnout tends to build slowly, until it doesn't. In therapy we might explore:

  • Exhaustion that rest doesn't seem to fix
  • The pressure to keep performing even when you're running on empty
  • Difficulty switching off, even in your own time
  • Losing touch with what you actually want, versus what you think you should want
  • What it would mean to measure your worth by something other than output

Recovering from burnout isn't just about resting until you feel ready to go again. It's about understanding what led you there, so you're not just running the same pattern on repeat.
