How I can help
Depression feels different for everyone. In therapy we might explore:
- Persistent low mood, emptiness or numbness that won't lift
- Losing interest in things that used to bring you pleasure
- Exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix
- Difficulty concentrating, making decisions or motivating yourself
- Withdrawing from people and feeling increasingly alone
- A sense that things will always be this way
That last one — the feeling that nothing will change — is one of depression's cruelest symptoms. It isn't the truth, even when it feels completely convincing.
Therapy won't resolve everything overnight. But it can help you feel less alone with what you're carrying, understand it more clearly, and begin to find your way through.
